Independent MLA Candidate for Peace River North
Democracy is meant to go from the people up, not the top down.
As an independent, I will not be silenced by the policies or leader of a political party.
My responsibility will be first and foremost to you, the citizens of the North Peace.
I have listened to your ideas and concerns.
I want to hear more from you.
For starters, my priorities are:
-
Jobs for People and Contractors of the Peace. Oil & gas revenues are important for the Peace and the province. It is essential that the industry proceed with sensitivity and respect for other tenure holders, the environment and future potential uses.
-
Generate electricity for British Columbians using biofuels, solid waste and other alternative sources.
-
Eliminate the Carbon Tax
-
Eliminate the 1% Property Transfer Tax.
-
Promote a 4 lane highway to Southern BC able to handle oversize loads.
-
Recognize the importance of Agriculture.
-
Treat all British Columbians equally (No Recognition & Reconciliation Act)
